A waiver is required to overcome your inadmissibility to the U.S. But if you have an extremely urgent need to enter the U.S. but cannot wait the lengthy waiver processing time required by the U.S. immigration, you may apply for a humanitarian parole to seek an urgent approval of entry.
Humanitarian Parole is a special permission allows certain individuals to enter the U.S. for a short period of time for emergency humanitarian reasons, such as visiting to an ailed family member, or public interest purposes, such as bringing significant economic benefits to the U.S.
Humanitarian Parole can be filed at a CBP port of entry. The application should include the following documents:
- personal explanation of why you are inadmissible to the U.S. and the urgent need for a humanitarian parole
- documents relates to your needs of entry
- proof of the stage of your waiver application
- evidence of your rehabilitation
